High school chemistry teacher, Walter White dreamed more for himself and has become dissatisfied with the current state of his life–the constant ridicule of a few trouble-making students, his low-paying teacher’s salary and his obnoxious boss at his second job at a car wash. To make matters worth Walt is diagnosed with cancer. With minimal medical insurance coverage, Walt enlists the help of one of his former high school students, a flunky named Jesse, to go in the business of making meth in order to cover his burgeoning medical expenses. Walt and Jesse cross the path of local drug dealer, Krazy-8 and his henchman. Just barely escaping the wrath of Krazy-8, Walt and Jesse realize the difficulties of running their enterprise alone, and they enlist the help deranged big-time drug pin, Tuco. They soon conclude that this deal may have been more than they bargained for… Meanwhile all of Walt’s dangerous escapades as well as his illness have been kept hidden from his family, including his very pregnant wife, Skyler.
