Episode Six - Crazy Handfull of Nothin'

Walt tells Jesse he wants to be a "silent partner" and does not want to be involved in street peddling nor with disgruntled dealers. During Walt's first chemo treatment, Skyler tells Walt she's concerned about not having received payment from Elliott. Walt lies and says he already received and deposited the check for his chemo treatment from Elliott. Jesse tells Walt that they need to start major distribution if they are going to make any decent amount of money. Jesse's friend, Skinny Pete introduces Jesse to Tuco, a high level and slightly deranged drug kingpin, who controls the west valley drug trade. Tuco intimidates and manhandles Jesse into taking less pay than he is owed for the meth he deliveres to him. The chemo has taken a toll on Walt's hair, and he decides to shave his head bald. Later, Walt enters Tuco's headquarters and makes him a proposition: Tuco pays him $50,000: "Thirty-five for the pound of meth you stole, and another fifteen for my partner's pain and suffering." Tuco respondswith a threat of physical harm. At that moment Walt hurls a crystalline nugget to the floor causing a huge explosion that shatters the windows of the headquarters and sets off car alarms nearby In the midst of the ensuing chaos, Walt returns to his car with Tuco's money in hand.
